Quake jolts Caspian Sea

A magnitude 3.5 quake hit the Caspian Sea, the Earthquake Research Bureau of the Seismic Survey Center under Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences informed.
The tremors were felt at 07:49 local time on May 14. The quake occurred at a depth of 62 kilometers.
Seismic monitoring is carried out in areas using telemetric equipment of the “Kinemetrics”.
The Earthquake Research Bureau is responsible for analyzing seismic records, determining their kinematic and dynamic parameters.
