The criminal trial of Armenian citizens accused of war crimes against Azerbaijan continued at the Baku Military Court.
According to Report, an interview with former Armenian Deputy Defence Minister Manvel Grigoryan was examined as evidence at the hearing.
In the interview, Grigoryan spoke about the involvement of former Armenian presidents Robert Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan in the occupation of Azerbaijani territories.
He also said that high-ranking military officers - generals and colonels from Armenia - were sent to form military units on the then-occupied Azerbaijani lands. He named one of the generals, saying it was Artush, who arrived from Gyumri.
Grigoryan also admitted that Azerbaijanis were killed and villages looted, saying: "We began to seize the villages of the Turks. We destroyed the villages, wiped them out. We terrorized the Azerbaijanis, subjected them to terror."
