Deputy Minister: Virtual space turns into serious risk environment for children

The dangers children face today are not limited only to the street and domestic environment; virtual space has also turned into a serious risk environment, according to Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant General Ismat Aliyev, Report informs.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony of the research report titled Legal Awareness of Adolescents in Azerbaijan and the book Children and Law, Aliyev noted that psychological pressure, harmful content, blackmail, and other dangerous incidents are being observed through mass media and social networks.

He added that in this regard, comprehensive measures are being implemented together with parents and educational institutions in order to raise awareness and increase knowledge in accordance with the challenges created by modern technologies.
