Azerbaijan clears 249 mines in liberated territories in a week

Azerbaijan's liberated territories witnessed the detection and neutralization of a staggering 249 mines between October 14 and 20. According to a weekly report by the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA), the haul included 49 anti-tank mines, 200 anti-personnel mines, and 763 unexploded ordnance.
Report informs via ANAMA that the demining operations, spanning an area of 470.2 hectares, were carried out by ANAMA in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Emergency Situations, State Border Service, and four private companies. The efforts focused on the regions of Tartar, Aghdam, Kalbajar, Khojaly, Khankandi, Shusha, Khojavand, Lachin, Fuzuli, Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan.
