Arkadi Ghukasyan's statements in criminal case and other documents related to him announced

During the ongoing court hearing at the Baku Military Court on August 28, the statements given by the accused Arkadi Ghukasyan during the preliminary investigation of the criminal case and other documents related to him were announced.

According to Report, in his testimony during the preliminary investigation, the accused Arkadi Ghukasyan stated that as the "president" of the illegal regime, he had the authority to make decisions regarding any "appointment" to positions. Only "appointments" and "dismissals" from the position of "defense minister" took place after coordination with the Ministry of Defense of Armenia and the President of Armenia.

Stating that only the Ministry of Defense of Armenia sent weapons and ammunition to the region, Ghukasyan emphasized in his testimony that the "ministry of defense" of the illegal regime effectively functioned as a component of Armenia's Ministry of Defense.

It was stated that weapons, ammunition, and all other supplies from Armenia were brought to the region using the Goris-Lachin-Khankandi and Vardenis-Kalbajar-Aghdara-Khankandi highways.

The trial continues for Armenian citizens accused of crimes against peace and humanity, including war crimes, acts of terrorism, the preparation and execution of aggressive war, genocide, violations of war laws and rules, forcible seizure and retention of power, as well as financing terrorism, among other offenses stemming from Armenia's military aggression.
