Russia upgrades communications network to the border with Azerbaijan

Baku. 7 July. REPORT.AZ/ Russian telecommunications company "TTK" (TransTeleKom) has upgraded communications backbone network to the border with Azerbaijan.
Report informs citing the company's website, network in the South and North Caucasus Federal Districts in the area Caucasian-Samur were modernized, thereby digital 100Gbit flow was organized by Moscow to Azerbaijan.
According to information, installation of modern equipment of Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) allows to provide communication channels for international traffic from Russia to Azerbaijan and Middle Eastern countries.
