Over 100 financial institutions integrated into digital.finance in Azerbaijan

More than 104 financial institutions in Azerbaijan have been integrated into the digital.finance platform, according to Farid Osmanov, Chairman of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IRIA), Report informs.

Speaking at the 9th International Banking Forum in Baku, Osmanov said nearly 300 million transactions have been exchanged through the platform to date. He added that the financial sector submits over 300,000 daily data requests for citizen identification.

"The MyGov platform now has more than 800,000 monthly active users and has reached 2 million total users," he said.

He noted that the country's digitalization strategy is centered on transitioning to a paperless government. "Correspondence between state institutions is now almost fully paperless. Our main product enabling this is the Digital Document Workflow subsystem. Several banks have already integrated into the system, and others are actively working on integration," Osmanov said.
