Google's market share in Azerbaijan drops to 80.72% in August

In August 2025, Google's market share across all platforms (desktop, mobile, and tablet) in Azerbaijan fell to 80.72%, according to the latest data by Statcounter, Report informs.

This marks a decrease of 0.56 percentage points compared to July (81.28%) and a significant drop of 9.14 percentage points compared to August 2024 (89.86%). Overall, Google's share declined by 10.2% year-over-year in July.

Yandex remained in second place, with its market share rising by 0.37 percentage points monthly and 8.49 points annually, reaching 16.77%.

Bing followed in third, increasing slightly by 0.08 percentage points over the month and 0.03 points year-over-year, reaching 1.31%.

DuckDuckGo ranked fourth, with a market share of 0.58%, up 0.05 percentage points from the previous month and 0.38 points over the year.

Yahoo closed the top five, growing by 0.05 percentage points monthly and 0.18 annually, with a market share of 0.52%.
