Cyberattacks targeting Azerbaijani government institutions rise 16% in April

A total of 368 indicators of compromise (IOCs) linked to cyberattacks targeting government institutions were identified in January–April of this year, down 0.8% compared to the same period last year.
According to Report, citing the State Service for Special Communication and Information Security of Azerbaijan, 264 cyber threats were detected through internal investigations, while another 107 were identified through the analysis of incidents reported by government agencies themselves.
All detected threats were successfully blocked.
In April alone, 94 cyberattacks were recorded, marking a 16% increase compared to April of last year.
