Azercosmos's export revenues rise over 55%

In January–April of 2026, the Space Agency of Azerbaijan (Azercosmos) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport exported satellite telecommunication services worth $8.7 million, Report informs, citing the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.

According to the center's monthly export review, this marks an increase of about 55.4% compared to the same period last year.

During the four months, nearly 90 companies from 32 countries imported Azercosmos services – eight fewer countries than a year earlier.

The main export destinations were: United Kingdom – $1.4 million; Luxembourg – $1 million; Türkiye – $381,100; Pakistan – $370,000; Sweden – $187,200.

The share of export revenues in Azercosmos' total income fell slightly from 65% to 64%.

In April alone, Azercosmos exported services worth $4.6 million, which is 2.9 times higher year-on-year.
