Azerbaijani students to take part in ICPC Global events

Azerbaijani students will participate in ICPC Global events, Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Vusal Khalilov said at a press conference dedicated to the world finals of the International Inter-University Programming Contest (ICPC).

Report quotes him as saying meetings and discussions are being held with both universities and organizations supporting ICPC: "Negotiations with ICPC Global are of particular importance. We have reached an agreement on some issues. For example, students from Azerbaijan will participate in certain events held by ICPC Global as part of their preparation. We are discussing the application of 'insights' from these events in Azerbaijan. We hope that this will also provide serious support to increasing the number of students in this area in the future."
