"The pandemic is considered an emergency. The health care system in any country was not ready for this situation. So, all medical staff is involved in the fight against the virus, " Yagut Garayeva, head of the Disease Prevention and Control Department of the Medical Territorial Units Management Unit (MEDU), told at a briefing of the Cabinet of Ministers, Report says.
"We are seriously preparing for the autumn-winter season. Some medical workers have been given rest to prepare for the upcoming season."
Considering the decreasing number of COVID-19 cases and the need to strengthen economic activity, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers decided to allow operation in some production, trade, and service areas from August 10.
