Scientists find neutralizer in battle against coronavirus

Scientists at the University of Pittsburgh in the United States have discovered a protein that can completely neutralize the coronavirus, Report says, referring to journal Cell.

It is a protein compound ten times smaller than the antibody used to create the drug "Ab8" against COVID-19.

The researchers emphasized that the smaller the protein, the higher its ability to spread to tissues, which is better for neutralizing the virus.

Also, its molecules do not bind to human cells, which allows them to minimize additional adverse effects.
