Region's largest Robotic Rehabilitation Center opens in Azerbaijan

Starting today, the largest Robotic Rehabilitation Center in the region has begun operating in Azerbaijan, Vugar Gurbanov, Executive Director of the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB), told journalists during a media tour organized at the New Clinic, where the center is located, Report informs.
Gurbanov stated that the new Robotic Rehabilitation Center covers an area of 3,600 square meters: "The main goal is to restore patients' functional independence, improve their quality of life, maximize mobility, and reduce the level of disability in our country. The center provides both outpatient and inpatient treatment services."
Gurbanov stated that the facility employs a total of three physiotherapist doctors, one traumatologist, four neurologists, four emergency and urgent care doctors, nine therapeutic exercise (MBT) instructors, 32 physiotherapist‑rehabilitologists, 17 nurses, two massage specialists, and 20 junior medical staff:
"In the Neurotrauma Department, inpatient treatment will be provided for patients with cranial and spinal cord injuries, as well as citizens from various medical institutions across the country who require rehabilitation after intensive care. One of our goals is to help 150,000–200,000 Azerbaijani citizens regain their health here. The center is planned to receive up to 500 patients daily."
