Number of people vaccinated with booster dose in Azerbaijan exceeds 700,000

Some 33,072 people received their anti-coronavirus shots in Azerbaijan today, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

The number of those who got their first jab reached 4,482 people today, while 6,842 people got their second dose of the vaccine. As many as 21,748 people got immunized with the third (booster) dose of a COVID vaccine.

To date, 10,267,178 coronavirus vaccine jabs have been administered to the population in Azerbaijan. Of this, 5,047,093 citizens have received their first shot only, while 4,519,516 got both doses.

As of today, 700,569 people have received a booster dose of coronavirus vaccines in Azerbaijan.
