Due to the mutation, the coronavirus began to disguise itself as a seasonal viral infection. The main symptoms are now a runny nose, sore throat, intestinal disorders, and the loss of smell has faded into the background, Yevgeny Timakov, a Russian infectious disease specialist, told RIA Novosti, Report informs.
According to Timakov, now it is very difficult to distinguish coronavirus from an ordinary seasonal cold on your own. Often, people do not notice that they have COVID-19 and do not go to the doctor on time.
