Ghebreyesus: WHO offers to establish council of heads of state

We must get rid of our worries once and for all. More than 300 proposals have been made to make the world healthier, Tedros Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), said at a panel on "Global Health Governance" held as part of the IX Global Baku Forum.

Ghebreyesus noted that if there are common approaches in the field of health, all issues can be kept under control:

"WHO has submitted ten proposals for the development of international agreements. WHO proposes to establish a council of heads of state."
