Azerbaijan reports 1,663 new coronavirus cases: Task Force

Azerbaijan recorded 1,663 new COVID-19 cases, Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

As many as 859 people recovered from the infection, while 16 patients lost their lives over the past day.

So far, 65,411 people have contracted coronavirus in Azerbaijan, 48,908 have recovered, while 840 died.

At present, 15,663 people are receiving treatment.

Azerbaijan has conducted 1,441,230 coronavirus tests over the past period. Today's test number is 11,722.
