30 thalassemia patients transplanted bone marrow

Last year, 30 patients with thalassemia underwent bone marrow transplantation in Azerbaijan.
According to Report, about 3,500 registered patients were examined and treated last year.
Nearly 1,250 thalassemia patients were fully provided with chelator drugs, and about 3,000 healthy donors were screened for HLA.
