UN: Housing - global agenda for local action

Discussions at WUF13 in Baku reaffirmed that housing remains a global agenda requiring local solutions and a people-centered approach, UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed said at the forum's closing press conference, Report informs.
"From rural communities and informal settlements to cities, housing must be addressed through a human and dignified perspective, strengthening resilience, restoring vibrant cultural, social, and economic centers, and shaping a people-centered future," she noted.
