UN adopts resolution to combat glorification of Nazism

UN General Assembly (UNGA) adopted the resolution "Combating glorification of Nazism, neo-Nazism and other practices that contribute to fueling contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia & related intolerance" proposed by Russia.
Report informs, citing Twitter page of Russian Mission to the UN, that 130 countries voted in favor of the document, 49 countries abstained, only the United States and Ukraine voted against. Azerbaijan and Armenia support Russia's resolution. Among those who abstained were Turkey, Moldova, and the European Union.
