Prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and SCO discussed

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Zhang Ming, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan to observe the snap presidential elections, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, the prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the SCO, as well as issues related to the snap presidential elections, were discussed.

Bayramov said that Azerbaijan's current cooperation with the SCO members determines its activity within the framework of the Organization, as well as contributes to mutual dialogue.

During the meeting, opinions were also exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
