The meeting emphasized how Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev's working visit to Washington at the invitation of United States President Donald Trump created a favorable foundation for discussing the bilateral relations agenda and developing strategic partnership. The importance of projects implemented within the framework of mutual interests for the region's development was highlighted, and opportunities for realizing the existing potential for expanding economic cooperation through joint initiatives were reviewed.

The discussions noted Azerbaijan's strategic geographical position, successful results of reforms implemented for economic diversification, development of the non-oil-gas sector, and favorable business and investment environment. It was emphasized that against the background of global challenges, digital transformation of the economy and promotion of knowledge-based sectors are among the main priorities of Azerbaijan's development strategy.
