Lance Jay Brown: There are serious challenges in energy and climate change

Holding the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) against the backdrop of significant global challenges in the energy and climate sectors is highly valued, New York-based architect Lance Jay Brown said on the sidelines of WUF13.

According to Report, he noted that he is participating in the World Urban Forum for the 10th time.

"I am a strong supporter of UN-Habitat's mission to advance the New Urban Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals. Especially at a time when we are facing serious challenges related to inequality, energy, and climate change, I highly appreciate that this meeting is focused on housing provision and community development, covering the full spectrum of needs arising from housing. I consider this a good start and have high expectations," he said.
