Iranian president: ECO's potential can help regional countries develop

The potential of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) can help the development, welfare and prosperity of the region's countries, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said at the 17th ECO summit held in Khankendi, Report informs.
According to Pezeshkian, the good-neighborliness policy remains a priority for Iran's economic diplomacy.
"For us, the ECO is an organization in which cooperation with neighbors is carried out, and in this regard, it is at the forefront of our multilateral economic diplomacy. The potential and capabilities of the ECO can help the development, welfare and prosperity of the region's countries and the entire region as a whole," he noted.
