Fuad Mammadov: Ready to launch joint grant contests for Turkic NGOs

Azerbaijan's State Support Agency for NGOs is ready to announce joint grant competitions for civil society institutions with partner organizations of Turkic states, stated Fuad Mammadov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the agency, at the 2nd Solidarity Forum of NGOs of Member States of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) held in Baku on Saturday, Report informs.
According to him, on May 15, at the informal Summit of OTS Heads of State in Kazakhstan, leaders of Turkic states once again sent messages of unity, strength, and solidarity to the entire world:
"Today, the Turkic world is progressing, and the opportunities and prospects before us are expanding. Our friendly and brotherly nations, committed to the ideas of peace, security, stability, and progress, are united by common ethnic roots, history, language, culture, traditions, and values. We are ready to announce joint grant competitions for NGOs on a bilateral and multilateral basis with Turkic states. The mechanism in joint grant competitions is not complicated at all: the parties organize the competition in accordance with their own local regulatory rules and set as a condition for NGOs that projects be implemented in the respective partner country."
Mammadov also noted that the formation and development of a highly cultured society will further increase the power of the Turkic world.
