Farid Shafiyev: Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan will continue to deepen bilateral relations

Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan continue to develop bilateral cooperation and we expect new positive news in the near future, the chairman of the board of the Center for Analysis of International Relations Farid Shafiyev said at the opening of the event "Multifaceted cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan: achievements and prospects" in Baku, Report informs.

Shafiyev recalled that the history of relations between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan has deep roots. "Relations between the two countries are developing in a positive direction, and in the near future we will hear positive news about further deepening of ties. We would be very pleased with the participation of our colleagues from Turkmenistan in events in Azerbaijan. In October 2025, the summit of the Organization of Turkic States will be held in Baku, and we will be glad to see their participation," he noted.
