"Azerbaijan will send us an amphibious (firefighting) plane," Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who spoke about the work being done to extinguish forest fires.
"We have mobilized all our resources. We have the strongest fire brigade in the world. Some claim that the Turkish National Aviation has a plane, which we do not use. There is no plane or anything. They talk and invent what they do not know.
"At present, 45 helicopters and 5-6 planes are involved in extinguishing the fires. They are Ukrainian and Russian planes. Azerbaijan will send one plane. The number of planes involved in extinguishing fires will reach 6-7. The fire is expected to be extinguished soon by these planes," the head of state noted.
