Erdogan raises cybersecurity issue at informal OTS Summit

President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared his intention to strengthen cooperation among the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) members in the fields of cybersecurity, digitalization, and defense industry, Report's correspondent in Kazakhstan informs.

Speaking at the informal OTS Summit in Turkistan, Erdogan stressed that cybersecurity today is as vital as security on land, in the air, and at sea: "During Türkiye's chairmanship, we intend to elevate coordination and cooperation in cybersecurity within the OTS framework to a higher level."

The Turkish leader also emphasized the importance of the common Turkic alphabet in education, culture, academic cooperation, and digital transformation.

In addition, Erdogan supported AI‑based projects, including the Turkic language model, which will enhance the presence of Turkic languages in the digital space.
