Azerbaijan will not apply the provisions of the European Convention on Extradition to Armenia until relations are normalized.
The bill on the approval of the Fourth Additional Protocol of the European Convention on Extradition was discussed at the plenary session of the parliament held today.
The Additional Protocol serves the purpose of modernizing and completing a number of provisions of the European Convention on Extradition adopted in 1957.
Azerbaijan will not apply the provisions of the Convention to Armenia until the consequences of the conflict are completely eliminated, and relations with Armenia are normalized.
The document was put to the vote and accepted.
