Azerbaijan's Embassy in Germany marks Remembrance Day in Berlin

The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Germany held a commemorative event on September 25 at the Azerbaijani Cultural Center in Berlin in honor of September 27 - Remembrance Day, Report informs.

The event was attended by foreign diplomats, scholars, cultural figures, members of the Azerbaijani, Turkish, and other communities living in Germany, as well as media representatives.

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Germany Nasimi Aghayev emphasized the special significance of Remembrance Day in the modern history of the Azerbaijani people. He noted that it was the heroism of the martyrs that enabled Azerbaijan to end the decades-long occupation, restore historical justice, and uphold international law.

Following the speeches, attendees viewed the film "Shusha, You Are Free!" produced by the Baku Media Center, which highlights the bravery of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces during the Patriotic War.

The event concluded with a memorial meal (ehsan) in honor of the fallen heroes of Azerbaijan.
