Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan hold joint drone training workshop

From September 15 to 19, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operators from the Ministries of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan participated in an international master training in Almaty and the Almaty region on the use of drones for emergency prevention and response, Report informs referring to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan.
The event was organized by the Center for Emergency Situations and Disaster Risk Reduction with the support of the International Civil Defense Organization (ICDO) and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan.
The training program included both theoretical classes and practical competitions in five key disciplines: searching for victims in natural and man-made environments, testing, drone assembly, and water search.
The training provided a platform for exchanging experiences, strengthening interagency and international cooperation, and enhancing the professional skills of specialists.
Particular attention was paid to the practical use of drones in disaster relief: from searching for victims to monitoring mudflows, avalanches, landslides, and floods.
