Azerbaijan and Turkey help Georgia supply oxygen to coronavirus patients, said Georgian Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia.
According to her, the country's Ministries of Economy and Foreign Affairs are actively working to ensure an uninterrupted supply of oxygen to Georgia.
She noted that today 7,400 patients are treated in Georgian hospitals, and 70% of them depend on oxygen: "In order to avoid problems with the supply of oxygen, Georgia obtains it from several sources."
In November last year, Azerbaijan sent 100 tons of liquid medical oxygen to Georgia as humanitarian aid, and the Azerbaijani side undertook to deliver it to the neighboring country.
