Azerbaijan, Dominican Republic abolish visa requirements for diplomats

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with the Foreign Minister of the Dominican Republic, Roberto Álvarez, in New York within the framework of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, Report informs.

"It was a pleasure to meet Roberto Álvarez, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Dominican Republic, on the sidelines of UNGA80.

We discussed ways to diversify bilateral relations. We also exchanged views on strengthening cooperation in multilateral fora and advancing common priorities in global peace, stability, and sustainable development.

During the meeting we signed the ‘Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Dominican Republic on exemption of visa requirement for holders of diplomatic and service/official passports'," Minister Bayramov wrote on X.
