Azerbaijan discusses NATO's financial, technical aid to solve its landmine problem

A delegation led by Samir Poladov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA), has started an official visit to NATO headquarters, ANAMA told Report.
During the visit, representatives from ANAMA and the Azerbaijani mission to NATO held bilateral meetings with Orhan Muratli, Director, Support to Operations NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) in Luxembourg, and other officials.
The discussions focused on Azerbaijan’s landmine problem and NATO’s financial and technical assistance to address it. They also examined modern demining technologies and new methods.
Furthermore, the parties extensively discussed the exchange of experiences in humanitarian demining.
