Azerbaijan, Argentina ink protocol on trade, economic co-op

A protocol on trade and economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Argentina has been signed in the Argentine capital of Buenos Aires, Report informs referring to the Azerbaijani Embassy in the Latin American country.

The document was signed following the second meeting of the Joint Working Group on Economic and Trade Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Argentina.

The Azerbaijani delegation was headed by First Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev, and the Argentine delegation was headed by Secretary of International Economic Relations Fernando Brun.

The meeting participants discussed economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, as well as strengthening cooperation in sectors such as industry, energy, healthcare, tourism and digital technologies.

As part of the visit of Deputy Minister Elnur Aliyev to Argentina, meetings were also held at the Ministry of Economy of this country and the oil and gas company YPF, which is the largest energy company in the republic.
