Agency rep: Rehabilitation of Ukrainian children in Azerbaijan to be organized at high level

The process of involving children affected by the war in Ukraine in rehabilitation services in Azerbaijan continues at a high pace, adviser to the head of the State Agency for Medical and Social Expertise and Rehabilitation under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan Bahadur Rzayev said, meeting another group of Ukrainian children at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku, Report informs.

"During this period, children will be involved in rehabilitation services at the Gabala Children's Rehabilitation Center, where they will be provided with medical and social-psychological rehabilitation services. To effectively organize their leisure and familiarize them with the cultural heritage of Azerbaijan, excursions will be held, they will visit the sights, historical monuments of Gabala and the surrounding areas. The rehabilitation of children will be organized at a high level by our professional medical staff and specialists," Rzayev noted.

Today, 30 children arrived in Azerbaijan from Ukraine as part of the eighth group for rehabilitation. The program, which is being implemented on the initiative of the State Agency for Medical and Social Expertise and Rehabilitation, has so far covered 222 Ukrainian children.
