Switzerland, Qatar play out draw in World Cup Group B

Switzerland and Qatar played to a 1-1 draw in their FIFA World Cup Group B match.

Report informs that the match was held at San Francisco Bay Area Stadium.

The European side opened the scoring in the 17th minute, when Breel Embolo converted a penalty. Qatar avoided defeat in stoppage time, with Boualem Khoukhi scoring in the 90+4th minute.

The match was officiated by Honduran FIFA referee Said Martinez.

The other Group B match between Canada and Bosnia and Herzegovina also ended in a 1-1 draw.
