Italian national team sets new record

The Italian national football team has broken a new world record.
According to Report, the squad coached by Roberto Mancini achieved this in the qualifying match for the 2022 World Cup. The game ended in a goalless draw with the Swiss national team.
After that the Italians have not lost in 36 consecutive games. No national team has been able to achieve this before.
The squad is the leader in Group C with 11 points after five games. The Italian team also won EURO 2020 this year.
