Azerbaijan mini-football team tops world ranking

The Azerbaijan national mini-football team has topped the world rankings, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijan Mini-Football Federation, Report informs.

The World Minifootball Federation (WMF) has published an updated ranking of national teams.

First place in the updated ranking was taken by the Azerbaijan national team, which is the reigning world champion. The team, coached by Elshad Guliyev, has 4,085 points and has topped the world ranking of national teams for the first time.

In second place in the ranking is the reigning European champion - the Serbian national team, which has 3,890 points.

Rounding out the top three is Romania with 3,385 points.
