AFFA: UEFA Women in Football Leadership Programme aims to empower female leaders

The goal of the UEFA Women in Football Leadership Programme (WFLP) 2025 is to develop the leadership skills of women working in senior roles in football management, Gunay Zamanli, Head of the Legal Department at the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA), told Report.

She shared her impressions of participating in the educational program, which is jointly organized by the UEFA Academy and the IMD Business School in Lausanne.

"The main objective of the program is to strengthen the leadership potential of women in football management, enhance their role in decision-making processes, and support their professional development. Additionally, the program contributes to reinforcing the role of women in football"s future and promotes international knowledge exchange," Zamanli said.
