Taleh Kazimov: CBA fighting centralization in banking sector

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) is struggling with the process of centralization in the banking sector, CBA Chairman Taleh Kazimov said at today’s meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship, Report informs.
The chief banker noted that the interbank market has matured, but in terms of liquidity, there is centralization in the banking sector.
“We will introduce a separate initiative in this direction. We are fighting against centralization, and this is a priority area for us,” he noted.
