Taleh Kazimov: Azerbaijani banks will provide brokerage services from this year

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) intends to involve local banks in brokerage from this year, the Chairman of the CBA, Taleh Kazimov, said at a press conference, Report informs.
"We think this step will create conditions for the further expansion of the capital market because our banks have a wide branch network. We have enough plans in this area, mainly in terms of infrastructure, so that the capital market works effectively. Besides, we have plans for digitization in the market. Undoubtedly, work will be done in the direction of education to increase the knowledge of both investors and issuers," he noted.
