Shusha to host first Assembly of Turkic World Insurance Union

The first Assembly of the Turkic World Insurance Union will take place on September 14 in the city of Shusha, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijan Insurers Association.

The event is organized with the support of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan and the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

Participants will include officials and financial regulators from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, Uzbekistan, Hungary, Turkmenistan, and Northern Cyprus, as well as representatives of insurance associations.

The program of the event will feature an official opening ceremony, panel discussions, and the signing of a proclamation on reforming the Union in line with the goals and principles of the OTS.

The Turkic World Insurance Union was established in May 2022 in Istanbul at the initiative of the insurance associations of Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
