Samir Sharifov: Azerbaijan borrowed less than expected

The government of Azerbaijan borrowed less than it expected to borrow, Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said at the meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee for Economic Policy, Industries and Enterprising, Report informs.
He also said that the share of foreign debt in the government debt should be reduced, and domestic debt should be increased instead:
"Domestic borrowings improve the stability of domestic financial markets. Therefore, we will try to keep foreign debt stable or reduce it by increasing domestic one."
