Georgia's debt to Azerbaijan shrinks

In August 2021, Georgia's debt to Azerbaijan dropped by $450,000 and amounted to $4.4 million as of September 1, Report informs, citing the Georgian Ministry of Finance.
According to the ministry, currently, Georgia's total foreign debt is more than $8 billion. Of this amount, $7.5 billion falls on the government.
Georgia's debt to Turkey, Russia and Armenia also decreased over the past month to $8.529 million, $31.57 million and $4.21 million, respectively.
