Compulsory insurance premiums in Azerbaijan down 1.2%, payments up over 15%

In January this year, insurance premiums (-1.2%) of 18.323 million manats ($10.778 million) were collected at the expense of types of compulsory insurance types in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
During the reporting period, the amount of payments for types of compulsory insurance amounted to 8.298 million manats (4.881 million), which is 15.2% more than a year ago.
Thus, in January 2023, 45.3 manats ($26.65) of every 100 manats ($58.82) collected from the compulsory insurance market were paid. This figure was 38.9 manats ($22.88) in the same period of 2022.
