Baku hosting WGPPA's annual meeting

The Annual Meeting of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) Working Group on Public Procurement Audit (WGPPA) is being held in Baku.

According to Report, representatives from more than 20 supreme audit institutions, both members and observers, are attending the event.

The WGPPA, as a permanent working group of INTOSAI, focuses on improving methodological approaches in public procurement auditing, sharing best practices, and strengthening international cooperation.

It was noted that after the opening ceremony, participants will take part in presentations and panel discussions on recent developments in public procurement auditing, the application of international standards, digital solutions, risk‑based audit approaches, and the experiences of different countries in this field.

The meeting will also include discussions on the group's activities, future work plans, and new initiatives. Organizers emphasized that the event is expected to serve as an important platform for addressing current challenges in public procurement auditing, promoting innovative approaches, and further expanding cooperation among supreme audit institutions.
