Azerbaijani manat’s circulation velocity slightly down

As of May 1 this year, the velocity of circulation of the national currency of Azerbaijan - the manat was 3.97 points, Report informs referring to the report of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
This figure is 0.11 points less than on April 1, 2023, 0.56 points less than on January 1, and 0.93 points less than on May 1, 2022.
The lowest threshold for the velocity of circulation of the manat over the past 17 years was recorded at the end of January 2015, on the eve of the first devaluation in recent years, and amounted to 2.68 points.
The highest threshold for this indicator was recorded in 2005 (15.72 points).
