Azerbaijan sees slight drop in national currency circulation velocity

As of November 1 this year, the circulation velocity of the national currency of Azerbaijan - the manat - was 4.64 points.
Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), that this is 0.08 points less than on October 1, 0.75 points more than at the beginning of the year, and 0.84 points more than on November 1 last year.
According to the CBA, the lowest rate of manat circulation for the last 17 years was recorded in late January 2015, which is ahead of the first devaluation of recent years, when it amounted to 2.68 points. Meanwhile, an all-time high was recorded in 2005 (15.72 points).
